We are pleased to announce that COSMOPlat AIoT’s Thailand Factory (Histar Technology （Thailand）Co.,Ltd.) has received the 2026 Supplier Quality Improvement Award from GE Appliances.

The award recognizes the factory’s strong performance in quality management and continuous improvement over the past year. It also reflects the growing quality and manufacturing capabilities of COSMOPlat AIoT within GEA’s global supply chain.

One of Only Six Suppliers Worldwide

GEA’s annual Supplier Quality Awards are based on full-year quality performance data. From approximately 300–400 suppliers worldwide, only six suppliers were selected for the award.

The evaluation focuses on two key metrics:

• Scorecard: A comprehensive assessment of supplier quality performance across multiple dimensions.
• PPM (Parts Per Million): A quantitative measure of product quality based on defect rates in shipments.

Suppliers must demonstrate strong performance across both metrics to qualify for the award.

The six winning companies represent key supply categories across GEA’s global supply chain, including wire harnesses, sheet metal, motors, plastic components, and PCBA. Only two PCBA suppliers received the award, with COSMOPlat AIoT’s Thailand Factory being one of them.This recognition places the Thailand Factory among the six suppliers recognized globally by GEA for supplier quality improvement in 2026.

Behind the Award: Collaboration Across Quality and Manufacturing

This achievement reflects the close collaboration between the quality and manufacturing teams at the Thailand Factory.

As an important part of COSMOPlat AIoT’s overseas manufacturing network, the Thailand factory places strong emphasis on product quality and manufacturing consistency to support the company’s long-term growth in international markets.

The quality team closely aligned its quality management practices with GEA’s evaluation framework, using the Scorecard to optimize key quality indicators and focusing on PPM control. A comprehensive quality management process was established covering incoming materials, production processes, finished products, and continuous improvement reviews.

Through ongoing corrective actions and process improvements, the factory reduced its PPM from 448 in 2024 to 76 in 2026, establishing a more sustainable and systematic approach to quality improvement.

The manufacturing team worked closely with the quality team to implement standardized production processes and continuously improve key operations, including SMT assembly, soldering, and functional testing. By refining manufacturing processes and addressing production challenges, the team strengthened product accuracy, consistency, and batch-to-batch stability.

Through close coordination between quality and manufacturing, the Thailand Factory has continued to strengthen its process control and manufacturing capabilities, delivering quality performance that meets rigorous global standards.
